Ive been listening to "A Crow Left of the Murder" lately
I've decided that i no longer hate it.
I think it's a great cd.
I still think Priceless is the worst incubus song ever written.
It's like, a different band from previous incubus. which might be why i was so 'dissapointed' with it when it first came out.
BUt then i begin to think... the incubus on Fungun Amoungus (sp) is only SLightly like the incubus on SCIENE, which is nothign liek the incubus on Make Yourself, which is similer to the incubus on Morning view, which is nothign like the incubus on A Crow Left Of The Murder. WHich is tottaly cool, because you cant have liek 7 cds that sound the same.
For Example, Radiohead... Pablo Honey is almost like a punk-esq cd..well maybe not punk.. but its poppier. The Bends is still typical-esq, more acoustic. OK Computer starts the really GREAT experemntation. Kid A is very electronic Amnesiac was recorded at the same time as Kid A, same VIBE as Kid A, but less electronic, but stil based less around guitar and other "typical" sounds. Hail to The Thief .. similer to A Crow Left of the murder, in that i think they are both aquired tastes. Lots of random things that you wouldnt expect. Wonderful CD, good to fall asleep too. Acoustic Drums seem to be very limited. Much of it is blips and bloops keeping tempo and acting as drums, but its...awesoem. Sorry im rambling now, but im tired and this is what I do. Ill stop now.
I'm not really that into graphics, so that's why everythign is just colors. I really think these colors are ugly, Also, you may be listening to Taking Back Sunday via my little streamer thingie... I don't like them, but they are there. I'll change it sometime.

last night(actually this morning) i had this very frightening dream
First I was a commander in the russian army in WWII, but thats not important. So then I was in England, and I was getting old, and I had to go to America, because I was a Son of John(more like elton john, not john thr baptist or anything), and thats where all good peopel go to die. So America, was across this field (as in wizard of oz, emerald city) but it was really my school. So basically, I went along in this field and headed towards my school, and i got older as i got closer. So when i got there i was in a forest, and i was a walking beaver(I hadn't died I dont think, but keep in mind, that none of this seemed odd to me), and i had to catch the bus, which came on a lake that was on the edge of the forest. But i had to get my cd player and turn off the radio. So I started to run down a path to my left (These woods have been in dreams of mine before, liek when i was littler i vuagely remeber them, and catching the bus has been a common theme in my dreams). so as i ran down to the left i started to get tired. so i had to waddle, but i was going to miss the bus and i had to go down a long path to get my cd player, then go up to the top of this hill and turn off my radio. but then on my right there was liek a short path with this shed thing(very beat up and old, dark, made of wood, cracks and things), which was open facing the water (the path went parallel to the shore) and there was an opening facing me(like for a door) with a guy(another walking beaver) standing in it.(at this point i began to have wierd dejavu) and he began to say stuff like "Come son, I am your father, come closer so i can see you with my own eyes, do not be afraid"(liek in star wars) so walked down the small path to the shed, and he was off to the left kind of hiding, so i walked up on the right and looked, and he jumped out and scared me and he said "henchmen" and i turned around, and there were all the big beaver men coming out from hiding in the path going to beat me to death. at which point i woke up screaming. well not really screaming, but more like lazily moaning,. but i was paranoid all morning.
This is one of the most scary dreams I have ever had. It may seem goofy to you, and well it probobly will, but it scared me enough to write about it in here.

ellen has requested that i talk about our car ride.
Monday i was walking after school, from steve's to russ's. and up pulls ellen and rob and zach.
The ask where i am going. And i explain.. to russ's to get my bike so i can ride my bike home becquse i missed the buss.
Ellen (or was it rob on behalf of ellen) offers a ride to russ's
I think, what do they think im too out of shape to walk across the street and down astreet to russes?
But i realize that it is an act of kindness, so I accept.
So, I run around the car, (in some random persons driveway) and get in on the passengers side back door.
Zach is in the back with me, on the drievrs side, ellen in the drivers seat and rob in the passngers side front.
As we back up, i rmebered that ellen has a standard car, so i realized that this is a good time to watch her handle a stick. (im very sorry, i had to add that in).
Red Hot chili peppers were on the radio.
We saw a lesbian apparantly.
We got into parkwood, where russ lives, and ellen turns down the radio and AKS WURR to go. I direct her. Rob turns up the radio and ellen says she needs to hear my, and someone turns it back down. but i dont rmeber.
Rob asks if a random bike on the side of the road is mine. it wasnt.
then i stopped listening as rob and ellen talked about sometthing.
and i eventually got to russ.s (the green one as rob says)
i got out, i think i thanked ellen, and i said goodbye.

The guy said get there at 7 for load in.. he showed up at like 745. so we just sat around untill he came. We loaded in, turns out Renouf dropped and Faerwell injuria did too, and some other band took the place of farewell in njuria. We also had to share a set with some bands, Slip restaurant was really cool about it, secno year wasn't as cool about it, but i understand yknow?
So i got really excited to see peopel come, there was alot of peopel there, thanks to anyone who went, and to anyopne who tried to go but couldn't.

I had nothign in my monitor for My Angel so i got on the mic and asked the dude if i could get liek, somethign, and he wa a dick about it. But then he gave me liek ALL brett, and it was way to loud, but i didnt wanan say anythign.
We did Undone for our sound check song, except i noticed that dan was a little off, but i couldn't hear him well then after sound checks he goes "what song was that?" that made me a little nervous
I think Dissolve is not a ver good live song. It's so hard that you can't liek rock out to it, and in tyhe rest of it, is really mellow, and i thikn peopel get bored.
I'm really sick of Reggie, Weber and Emily say we shouldn't play it anymore. But in reggie, I did a guitar flip.. and messed it up. and my wireless fel out, so i laffed it off, grabbed my wirelss, plugged back in, and guitar flipped back in, and that was the highlight of playing for me.
Suffocate is an awesome song, Jake and Grieff like the wierd chords in it, as do I. It's kind of down tempo, but its cool anyways.
Open and Let Listen is liek mega boring untill the second half of the second verse, and the bridges, and i htink the only reason we keep that song is becaue of the harmonizing Brett and I do. Its just a stupid punk song. I don't know if anyone liked it or not...
Snowflake is soo much fun to play, cuz its easy and I can just rock out.
We should have a cd coming out soon. Like hopefully before school starts, so then yuo can tell what songs I'm talking about lol.
Slip restaurant was really cool, just a cool bunch of dudes, and dudette. They sadi soemthign about when i asked for somthign in my monitor and had the crowd give us a round of aplause twas really cool of them. I bought thier cd because i would want them to buy my cd. Its not bad.
Second Year... i knew that they guitar players were doing cool stuff, but i couldn't tell what it was. everythign was not blended right, damn steel.
The lookng glass self is realy good, but they never alloud time for applause and I wanted to clap for them , they were really really good.
So, after watching Story of the Year on Hard Rock live, bobby brett and I decided we musi learn how to do cool things to do on stage. We practiced our kicks and stuff and I fell. And then there's the guitar flips. brett and bobby learned how to do them last night, and I came over and theer liek eyah we can do them, but not backwards, and they hurt them selfs in the sholder and there necks were raw. so then i got the guitar tried a guitar flip, and got it. so liek 15 flips later my neck hurts. Oh, and i can do the one where i go one way, grab it and go the other way. its fun. so eyah my neck hurts.. then i went out side and did it some more, now its all raw.. but i can do guitar flips. smile.
I want to add another post, but I'm not sure what to post...
Everyone should get a copy of the song Paranoid Android by Radiohead. But that's just my thought.

But, the show on the 14th, Steel has been really dumb about it. The guy told me we could play at it. And this was a while ago. Then He called back to confirm and I'm like, "yes." Then I emailed him to get the list of bands playing and hees liek "I guess you guys can play at this show, you have to open up though." And I'm like wtf mate? Now I go to thier website and they haven't listed us as playing. So I emailed him asking if we are or not... he should email me back sometime today. I don't think we'll be playing anymore shows at steel... place kind of sucks any way.
